Bottom and Top Cementing Plug /API Cement Plug/Drilling Cementing Plug
Bottom and top cementing plug/API cementing plug/drilling cementing plug
A. Special non-rotating device design allows the plug to drill out quickly;
B. Special material design, easy to drill with PDC bit;
C. High temperature and pressure resistance.
High performance cement plug made of special elastomer and core material. These cement plugs are specially designed to provide good wiper function to ensure casing cleaning.
Bottom Plug: Similar to the top cement plug, the fins and tail provide good wiping action. The fins can also be used as seals when cementing. The core of the bottom plug is also made of special materials, such as plastic, aluminum, or phenolic, depending on the application and well conditions. When the stopper is in place, the rubber diaphragm at the top of the stopper cracks, allowing the cement to flow through.
Top Plug: The top cement plug is designed to exert continuous pressure on the casing wall. The core is made of a special material, such as plastic, aluminum, or phenolic, depending on the application and well condition. The tapered base fits into the cavity of the top plug, thereby initiating a forward seal. Solid rubber top plugs can also be used.
