Gas tree

A gas tree is a device used to produce oil, which has both a mobile well and a mechanical well. It is the main equipment used to control and regulate the oil production at the top of the gas well. It is composed of casing head, tubing head and gas tree body.

Main functions:

1. Connect all the casing in the well, seal the annular space between all the casing and support part of the casing weight.

2. Hang tubing and downhole tools, support the weight of tubing, and seal the annular space between tubing and casing.

3. Control and adjust oil production.

4. Ensure the safety of underground production. It facilitates control operation, lift operation and testing as well as paraffin cleaning.

5. Record oil pressure and casing information

6. Gas should be tested after completion. It is a production wellhead control device with both flow and mechanical Wells.

It consists of a tubing hanger, a valve, and a tee or cross pipe mounted on the casing head.

The tree is mounted on only one side and is called a single-wing X mass tree. A double-winged natural gas tree is a device with pipes on both sides. The gas tree is equipped with nozzles (throttle nozzles). And by changing different nozzles to control the gas production.
