U-ram preventer

U-ram blowout preventer, ram opening pressure to open ram. After replacing the plunger, this pressure closes the bonnet.

The U-shaped preventer design allows hydraulic pressure to open and close the RAMS and provides the principle of rapid replacement of the RAMS.

Gate closing pressure will close the gate. After removing the bonnet bolts, closing pressure will open the bonnet. After the cover is moved to the fully extended position, the pressure head disengages from the valve body. Ring bolts can be installed at the top of each pillow to pull it out of the guard.

Gate opening pressure to open the gate. After replacing the plunger, this pressure closes the bonnet. Push the plunger near the bonnet before the bonnet begins to move toward the guard body. This ensures that the plunger does not clog the hole or interfere with the pipe in the hole. Hydraulic presses the cover tightly against the BOP body and reinstates the cover bolts to keep the cover closed.
